TIRED of eating the same old food at a hawker stall near my house, we desperately wanted to try out something different for a change.

Descending on the spacious Indiana food court located along Persiaran Raja Muda Musa in Klang, we were spoilt for choice, but it was hard to decide what to have.

It was then that we started looking around at what other people were enjoying, our eyes darting from tables to the dishes people passing by had in their hands.

Then something caught our attention. Initially, we thought it was char kuey teow, but a second look disproved this.

Sure, the dish resembled a plate of brown coloured fried kuey teow but the noodles were rounded, rather than long and flat like regular kuey teow.

Our gaze followed the waiter to a stall which read fried seafood.

On the menu pasted on the stall, we found the item that had caught our eye – fried round kuey teow (kuey teow bulat goreng).

Could this be the fried chee cheong fun some people had recommended to me sometime ago?

I had heard about this speciality dish numerous times from friends and my parents, but it just did not register until now.

It was not easy to get the attention of the young Chinese cook, who had his hands full with the wok trying to keep up with orders. But he had two helpers to take orders and send out food.

For RM6, we got a sizeable portion of his fried chee cheong fun, which honestly tasted and looked a bit like fried kuey teow.

But what we loved about this dish was how the round, layered noodle gave the dish more texture and made it more chewy.

It had the usual garnish of fish cakes and meat, and was pretty tasty if you do not mind the simple presentation.

Well, you cannot expect much in that department from a hawker stall, but the dish surely was appetising.

We could taste the “wok fire” (wok hei) in the kuey teow.

I would certainly go back for more.

The portion was quite big for one person, so I would order it to share, together with other dishes from the food court.

Eating it all in one go alone might be a bit much because the chee cheong fun is really filling.

Despite the stall’s popularity, service was pretty quick. We did not wait long despite dropping in during the peak hour of 7.30pm.

If no one had told me about this dish or if I had not stumbled on it, I would not have found the stall.

The stall opens, every day, for dinner.

The food court is located beside another food court named Rumah Atap and faces Persiaran Raja Muda Musa Klang.

Here you have shared some pictures of the Indiana cafe and all the food here are very tasty. From the picture itself, we can see the crowd and there is no space for the people. All people like this restaurant and the taste of all food items are very popular. manufacturedhouse

I have heard about this restaurant and its special food items. But this is the first time I am seeing the inside view. I think the success of this restaurant is the simplicity and the quality of services. wholesale tablets for sale
