Company Overview

The company is a new and upcoming food company specializing in value added natural food products and new concept beverages. It aims to be an innovative and responsible member of the world food supply chain. The parent company has had many years in the food commodity business and with this new entity, the company hope to reach out to even more end-consumers.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to QA Manager / General Manager
  • Oversee the QC / Lab operation line of the company
  • Manage the laboratory documentation and supervision including physical, chemical and microbiology division
  • Perform line problem analysis and Lab analysis report as required by QA / Production / R&D
  • To develop and establish new analytical methods and ensure proper maintenance of the method development and validation documents
  • Perform supplier audit (domestic and internationally) according to risk assessment
  • Participate and assist in internal audit and customer audit
  • Proactive provide feedback to HOD / production about defect from QA / microbiology
  • Assist in preparing samples for customers
  • Assist in incoming packaging material, WIPs, pre-shipment inspection
  • Sourcing of purchase laboratory consumables and equipment according to ISO17025 / AOAC / FDA standard
  • Conduct assembly with inspectors
  • To monitor, control and approve microbiological analysis on water quality and environmental monitoring
  • To troubleshoot and provide solutions to laboratory testing problem
  • To ensure optimum performance of testing activities and accurate test results
  • To ensure that all measurement equipment are calibrated as per schedule and proper maintenance of the records
  • Perform positive release on the finished goods after reviewing laboratory verification reports and operation records
  • Assist on the customer feedback, supplier corrective action report, non-conforming report and audit finding by identifying the root cause and resolve with corrective action
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in carrying out quality control activities in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industries
  • Familiar with GLP,GMP, BRC and FSSC 22000
  • Possess knowledge of laboratory test techniques, terminology, equipment and supplies
  • Fluent in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese (added advantage)
  • Proactive, fast learner well-organized and able to work independently
  • Willing to work in Jeram, Selangor
